Yes. After activation, Yes to Photos runs entirely on your device. It does not phone home, upload photos, or share analytics. The only internet connection required is for initial license validation and optional update checks.

The app will still work, but new photos beyond the limit won't be indexed until you purchase a license. Your existing index and AI data are never deleted — you always have access to what's already been processed.

Yes! We support CR2, NEF, ARW, RAF, and DNG. The app uses your GPU to render RAW previews instantly without generating massive cache folders.

Yes. Each license covers up to 3 personal devices. Cross-platform use is included — when Windows and Linux versions launch, your license will work there too.

The AI models ship with the app. On macOS, we use Apple's CoreML and Vision frameworks. On Windows/Linux, we use ONNX Runtime. All inference runs on your CPU/GPU — no network calls are made during processing.

We never modify your original photos — they're read-only. Uninstalling removes only the app, database index, and thumbnail cache. Your photos remain exactly where they were, untouched.
